WHAT IS LIGHT AND HOW IT AFFECTS PLANTS

Visible light falls in the range of the Electro-Magnetic spectrum between infrared (IR) and ultraviolet (UV). It is an essential factor in the life of all plants and it’s necessary for self-rearing species whose existence depends on photosynthesis. This is one of the most important biochemical transformations on the Earth. Photosynthesis produces glucose and oxygen. Glucose, among other things, nourishes the plant while oxygen is released into the atmosphere

The intensity of the photosynthetic process is conditioned by many external factors such as light, temperature, carbon dioxide, water, minerals, etc. If proportions are not right, photosynthesis could occur slower or even be halted. Therefore, all factors must be delivered to the plant in the right amount

GROW LIGHTS FOR PLANTS

Modern LED technologies allow for the production of energy-saving luminaires with the desired light spectrum. Research shows that plants absorb mostly blue and red colors, that is why the majority of growers use luminaires with so-called burple color. Red-blue light can not only worsen visual acuity in the workplace but can also permanently damage your vision. White light-emitting luminaires, enhanced with color LEDs red, blue, yellow, and Far Red are the most optimal solution for the needs of plants and provide a hassle-free work environment for employees.

The most effective, energy efficient lighting system ever made

up to 80% higher energy efficiency compared to HPS/MH lighting and up to 50% in comparison to constant LED lighting.

Low intensity light

PULSE MODULATED LIGHT

Pulse modulated light provides periods of reduced intensity, which allow the regeneration of the photosynthetic apparatus (relieving it) and ensure its better preparation for adoption and the efficient use of light with a higher intensity. In this way, energy management through the plant becomes more effective. That’s why plants can grow faster, accumulate more assimilates, and root much better.

Supplemental Spectrum A

The Vegetative spectrum is biased on the blue end and is ideal for all plants that need to remain in a Vegetative stage before initiating the Flowering phase.

Supplemental Spectrum B++

The Flowering spectrum is biased on the red end and is ideal for all high light use plants that are in the Flowering stage.

Indoor Spectrum CB++

Enriched broad-band spectrum designed to combine the essential parts of HPS, MH, and narrow-band LED lighting strategies.

Indoor Spectrum CB+

Full-spectrum ideal for all high light use plants, especially in the flowering stage.
